Abstract

The term human rights violations is still unfamiliar among village communities, however this does not mean that there are no human rights violations there, in fact there are many violations due to community ignorance. This research aims to determine the efforts of the Kelapapati Darat Village Government, Bengkalis District in minimizing violations. Community-based human rights. This type of research is qualitative research. The location of this research is Kelapapati Village, Bengkalis District. This research was carried out in August-October 2023. The data collection methods used were interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the cause of legal violations in the Kelapapati village community, Bengkalis District, Bengkali Regency is a lack of understanding of human rights and a lack of legal awareness regarding human rights and efforts to minimize human rights violations by providing legal education, forming Sadarkum Villages and law enforcement against human rights violators in the Kelapapati village of the District.
