Abstract

Based on the development of increasing human needs, as well as information and communication networks. However, the development of science and technology not only brings positive effects, but brings negative effects. When negative developments begin to emerge. The negative development can be seen from the emergence of a new criminal act (cybercrime) in the form of prostitution that can be done online, namely prostitution activities that can be done only by accessing the internet network or certain communications.
The background that has been described above, it feels the need for a discussion that discusses how to regulate and counter the crime of prostitution online in cyberspace that has disturbed many circles along with the sanctions that have been established by the Criminal Code (Criminal Code), Law (UU) No. 11 of 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions and Law (UU) No. 44 of 2008 on Pornography in more depth.
