Abstract

In accordance with curriculum demands, teachers should implement integrated thematic learning,
scientific approaches, and other scientific approaches. Implementation of the learning approach
brings implications / changes to teacher mindset, learning process, teacher book, student book,
appraisal system, remedial program, enrichment, and parents and stakeholders. The reality in the
field, teachers still face many difficulties and obscurity in implementing the 2013 curriculum with
Integrated Thematic learning model. They need guidance, technical guidance, and academic
supervision and clinical supervision that can be used effectively and efficiently to develop creative
and innovative learning. While the research methodology used is School Action Research (SAR)
Conclusions The results show that: (1) The use of Clinical Supervision Model by paying attention
to the correct learning steps and completed with the worksheets and the necessary instruments
turns out to increase the activity of students and teachers in integrated thematic learning in the first
grade students at SDN Banjarsari II Sumberasih Probolinggo Sub-district Year 2017- 2018. (2)
There is a significant improvement between the implementation of clinical supervision on teacher
competence in Integrated Thematic learning in grade 1 students at SDN Banjarsari II Sumberasih
Probolinggo Sub-district Year Lesson 2017-2018 which is marked by improvement of ca paian in
each cycle, that is cycle I (63,89%) and cycle II (83,33%).
