Abstract

This article is based on the results of research that aims to improve the results of science learning magnetic material in class V SDN Jatiadi II District Gending through demonstration methods and experiments. This research uses qualitative approach and research type used is PTK consist of two cycles. Each cycle is carried out with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data gathering is done by observation, documentation, test, and student response questionnaire. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the learning of IPA magnetic material through demonstration methods and experiments can improve student learning outcomes of grade V SDN Jatiadi II District Gending. It is expected that teachers use demonstration methods and experiments in science learning so that students are more interested to follow the learning and obtain maximum results.
