PENINGKATAN PEMBELAJARAN K-13 KELAS VI DENGAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN VISUAL "ADIT SOPO JARWO" DAN "UPIN IPIN" UNTUK KENALI PERSATUAN DALAM PERBEDAAN DENGAN METODE EXAMPLES NON EXAMPLES SEMESTER GANJIL DI SDN PABEAN KECAMATAN DRINGU PROBOLINGGO
Abstract
This study reveals the efforts that have been made to improve students' skills in Social Science and Mathematics subjects of which theme is Unity in Differences with the title "Improvement of Class VI Learning with Visual Learning Method" Adit Sopo Jarwo "and" Upin Ipin "to Know Unity in Difference with Method Examples non Examples ". The material encompass: (1) Demonstrating the understanding of cause and effect of the change of Indonesian society from the Period of Independence Movement to the Beginning of Reformation in political, national and state life, (2) Presenting the result of understanding about the cause and effect of the change of Indonesian society from The Period of Independence Movement up to the beginning of Reformation in political life, nationality and statehood in the form of writing, (3) Determining the large angles found in everyday life at home, school and playground with non-standard units and degrees including angles between directions winds and corners between two clocks and (4) Measuring large angles found in everyday life at home, school and playground with a unit of degree including the angle between the direction of the wind and the angle between two clocks. This ability is part of the social science and arithmetical learning goals. The results are recognizing unity in diversity through the visual media of the work of the nation's "Adit Sopo Jarwo" which is downloaded through social media and displayed using available props. This is done to increase students' motivation and interest in the rich quality of the work of the children of the country. In the hope of increasing student participation reflected in the student's value or achievement. Therefore, researchers seek solutions to solving it through the application of learning with visual media strategy. With this strategy is expected to be able to be the answer for students to be useful to improve his ability. This study was conducted in two cycles. The initial test shows the completeness of the students reached complete 58.06% incomplete 41.94%. At the end of the first cycle of study reached 77,42% complete learning completeness, not completed 22, 58%, while in cycle II increased to 93,55% complete, 6,45% incomplete. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of visual strategy in learning proved significantly able to improve the ability to solve the story problem in grade VI students SDN Pabean.
