Abstract

Mathematics as one of the subjects taught in elementary school serves to develop the ability to communicate using numbers, symbols, and aims to train how to think systematically, logically, critically, creatively and consistently. Children are expected to be skilled in applying it in everyday life, but the reality in the field is that many children experience difficulties, especially the ability to calculate the volume of shapes. So that the ability to calculate volume in elementary school can be improved, it can take advantage of learning resources around students in the form of concrete objects.
