Abstract

This research was designed using Classroom Action Research or CAR. Action research has participatory characteristics. This research is also collaborative, meaning that it is carried out jointly between researchers and teachers starting from the planning process of observation and reflection. The problems discussed in this study are Efforts to Improve Learning Outcomes Using Measuring Instruments in Problem Solving with the RME Learning Model for Class VI Students of SD Negeri Sukapura IV, Sukapura Probolinggo District, 2019/2020 Academic Year. With a total sample of all 6th Grade students. This research was conducted in 2 (two) cycles for each cycle of two meetings. Cycle I, the first meeting on November 16, 2019 and the second meeting on November 19, 2019. Cycle II, the first meeting on December 7, 2019 and the second meeting on December 10, 2019 using student activity instruments and teacher activity instruments in learning, as well as student learning outcomes instruments. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from cycles I and II, the achievement of completeness reached 95.00%, which was greater than the percentage of classical desired completeness, which was 85%. The increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes is strongly influenced by the increase in student learning activities and the increase in teacher (researcher) activities in learning. From the conclusion of this study, the RME Learning Model can Improve Learning Outcomes Using Measurement Tools in Problem Solving in Class VI Students of SD Negeri Sukapura IV, Sukapura Probolinggo District, 2019/2020 Academic Year. The suggestion in this research is that in carrying out teaching and learning activities it becomes more fun, so as a teacher, it is necessary to choose methods and strategies wisely so that the learning process and results become more leverage.
